I’ve always been such a neutrals girl… until this year.  I’m currently so in love with Valentine’s Day and all things pink, red and sparkles and my desk at work is like an explosion of all things girly.  Thankfully, I got to take out some of my fem aggression on our VDay shoot for work (introducing our ruby red wine bottle) and couldn’t have had more fun.  We’re awaiting the professional photography, but had to share a few of my favorite iPhone pics in the meantime 🙂

Happy Monday! xoxo

Hope at Home Site Launch

November 15, 2012

Wahoo!  It’s finally here!  Today we officially launched the new Hope at Home site which has been a tremendous effort on the direct-to-consumer side of our business.  Originally, Hope at Home was just a tiny section of the ONEHOPE Wine site and being that the program has been such a huge success, we finally invested in creating its own stand-alone site and did an entire rebrand.  I worked hand in hand with the program’s Director, Haley Harris to appropriately rebrand this program and integrate some softer and slightly more feminine design elements into the customer’s visual experience.

We started with completely eliminating black from the equation.  Black is a very prominent color in the ONEHOPE Wine branding, which is perfectly fine, but we wanted to tone down the masculinity a bit for this at-home wine tasting side of our business (being that our customers and Wine Specialists are primarily female).  However, since all of our wine labels are black, we didn’t want to go so far in the opposite direction to where the two couldn’t compliment one another.  From there, we integrated a lot of texture including kraft paper and chalkboard with a little hint of chevron thrown into the mix to give it some energy and fun.  I love it!  What do you think?

PS:  If you’re interested in hosting a wine party and donating back to a cause of your choice check it out here.  If you’d like to become a Wine Specialist, click here.

Green Machine

March 20, 2012

My favorite color in the world is green and for whatever reason, I couldn’t really explain why (other than the fact that it feels “fresh” to me) until a few days ago.  A friend of mine from work, Leila Khalil’s wedding was featured in the Spring 2012 edition of Martha Stewart Weddings.  I had a feeling her favorite color was green after visiting her office, but in the eight page spread, she explained why she chose to incorporate its many hues into her absolutely stunning nuptials: “I LOVE the outdoors and all things GREEN.  The color symbolizes GROWTH and RENEWAL which is what weddings are all about.”  I don’t think she could have summed it up any more perfectly.  In the spirit of the great outdoors and this little blast of gorgeous summer we recently had in California (that has now seemed to have disappeared), here are a few of my favorite fresh green pieces this season.
