Hey there! No matter how prepared we feel for the holidays at work, it’s always insane in December and blogging just falls by the wayside. November and December are the two months when over 70% of our business for the YEAR occur and we trade our spaces behind the computer to high-tail it to the warehouse to help with fulfillment. I realized it had been a few days since I last posted so I wanted to drop by with a note to say hello. {Finally found a few hours to put up our tree 🙂 Half of the lights weren’t working, Target didn’t have any white lights in stock and the process took a million times longer than I expected, but her glow makes me SO happy. And kitty is clearly enjoying it too.}

pendant | pillow | camera bag | meow

Just a few pretty things that I can’t stop completely obsessing over… hey, a girl can dream – right? If the pendant were a plug-in, I would have ordered it in a minute for our place. The milk glass, the touch of brass – love. I’ve been looking for a little something to hang over our kitchen peninsula and this would be perfect if I didn’t need to hire an electrician to re-wire our rental. And the highly coveted banana leaf print made famous by the Beverly Hills Hotel has been an absolute favorite for as long as I can remember. My love was only reaffirmed when I visited the Lombardi House this past weekend and it was absolutely everywhere in the best way possible. Curtains, chairs, pillows – Heaven! I would have snapped a few pictures with camera if I had taken it with me, but my camera bag is an absolute embarrassment (which is why I need this ONA bag!) so I left it at home. Cognac + gold = sold. Lastly, Catbird is just the best and my inner cat lady almost died when J.Crew announced a collaboration and released their cat ring. Of course the only size left in stock is my size… I think it’s a sign 🙂

Welcome Fall!

Call me crazy, but I just can not get into the fall swing-of-things this year. Friday was the first official day of fall in the northern hemisphere and I’m usually counting down the days to sip on Pumpkin Spice Lattes while bringing out warmer decor and autumn hues. However, this year I’m finding it increasingly hard to trade in my oceanic blue/green Ikat pillows and summery coral for faux colorful leaves and gourds galore. Perhaps I just didn’t get enough of summer or maybe it’s the persistent heat that’s totally killing the mood for me. Determined to find some sliver of autumn-love within me, I grabbed my favorite fall themed latte and scoured Etsy for some autumn pillow covers that would transition seamlessly and still allow for accents of blue and green throughout our home. In my quest, I found a few that I just LOVE and I can’t seem to make up my mind… and now I’m finally excited for my favorite season 😉 What do you think?
